Day1-6
TOKYO & YOKOHAMA
Thursday, 19 September 2019

  • Day1

    It will take about 10 to 11 hours to fly directly to Japan, depending on which departure and arrival city you select.

    Upon your arrival at the airport, stay in a Tokyo’s hotel overnight.

  • Day2

    In the morning: stroll around Kichijoji, known as an oasis in Tokyo, and Fuchu, which is home to the historical Jindaiji Temple and rugby
    In the afternoon: head to Tokyo Stadium
    In the early evening: watch Japan v Russia (19:45- )!
    In the evening: after the match, dine at CRISTA to taste craft beer in Shibuya

  • Day3

    In the morning: after breakfast, take a train to Yokohama and visit Yokohama Chinatown
    In the afternoon: have lunch at Yokohama Chinatown, then travel to Shin-Yokohama and International Stadium Yokohama
    In the early evening: watch the New Zealand v South Africa match (18:45- )!
    In the evening: have dinner near Shin-Yokohama Station, then train back to Tokyo

  • Day4

    Join a day-trip tour of Tokyo
    In the morning: experience a traditional Japanese tea ceremony
    In the afternoon: National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) ⇒ Tokyo Sky Tree and Asakusa ⇒ Try on a rental kimono

    Join a two-day tour of the Hakone area

    In the morning: after breakfast, visit the Asics Sports Museum
    In the afternoon: have a late lunch, then travel to Kobe Misaki Stadium
    In the evening: watch the England v USA match (19:45- )!
    In the evening: after the match take a train to Osaka, check in to your hotel.

OSAKA

  • Day9

    In the morning: after breakfast visit Hanazono, a sacred place for Japan rugby
    In the afternoon: after lunch stroll around Osaka Castle and the surrounding area
    In the evening: have a celebratory drink at the brewpub BEER BELLY!

  • Day10

    In the morning: after breakfast, visit Kishiwada City to see Kishiwada Danjiri Kaikan, Kishiwada Castle and explore the rest of this former castle town
    In the afternoon: watch the Argentina v Tonga match (13:45- )!
    In the evening: take the Meimon Taiyo Ferry from Osaka Port to New-Moji Port in Kita-Kyushu City (meals and accommodations are on the ferry)

FUKUOKA
Sunday, 29 September 2019

  • Day11

    In the early morning: upon arrival at Shin-Moji Port in Kita-Kyushu, take a free shuttle bus to JR Kokura Station from JR Moji Station (about 40 min.)
    Upon arrival at JR Kokura Station, learn about Japanese industry at the TOTO Museum

  • Day12

    In the morning: after breakfast, go to the Meinohama Ferry Port then take a ferry to Nokonoshima Island Park
    In the afternoon: have lunch in the park then take a ferry back to Fukuoka City. walk around Hawk’s Town (*)
    In the evening: enjoy dinner in Tenjin, then go to the Nakasu food stall area for a celebratory drink!
    * Hawks town is under construction as of 2017. It will be launched in fall of 2018.

  • Day13

    Full day: walk around Uminonakamichi Seaside Park
    This national park hosted the international match“Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival”for rugby fans over 35yrs-old. Now visitors can enjoy various activities, including interacting with animals or day camping.
